An unusual trend for Star Wars fans appeared relatively recently - the lightsaber transition. Steeped in nostalgia from the films of George Lucas, creative TikTokers perform fencing and various tricks with the props of lightsabers according to all Tolkien canons.

Place the camera on a tripod in front of you and make marks on the floor to help you remember your position. This is necessary to make the transition look seamless. There are many spectacular tricks for performing the sword dance, but here it all depends on your skill. Nevertheless, there are a couple of simple elements that anyone can repeat for this transition.
You will need two prop lightsabers. We start with only one saber, but prepare our second sword for our 3rd clip.
Get into position and imagine that you are getting the sword from above in your hand. Spin it around as you can, and then swing it from top to bottom, holding it horizontally by the hilt, as if to make a curtain. This will be your first clip. Change the color of the sword and repeat the action of the end of your first clip with exactly the same motion and amplitude, but raise the "curtain" at the end. Thus, when combining these two clips, we get an interesting color transition with the lightsaber.
The second trick you can record right after making the first transition. For this, you have to continue playing with the lightsaber, but at the end, we already place our sword vertically in front of the face like a knight. We stop the recording at this point. Now we will need a second sword. We take both swords, take the same position, and put them together so that the camera can't see how many swords you have in your hand. After you start recording your third clip, disconnect the swords and continue the action, playing with two. Once the clips are combined, it will look like your one sword is split into two.
